眼鏡一族雪地建行者，小女子建議要買防霧眼鏡液，那你把臉包住時，才不會一片模糊。身上不要有外露部分就不會太冷。帽子除了毛線以外，再加上外套的帽就足夠。走路時會好熱，一直脫外衣。所以，我只帶換洗內衣及襪，其它不帶。熱水罐該有。
山上有小朋友，他們很喜歡我送的小包海苔片，送一些給飯店老闆家人，他們會好高興（所有吃的東西，一律叫做「巧克力」，真奇怪）。
我覺得山上遊客不多，百分之九十卻都是飯店，所以每一個住處好像只有我隊人而已，有兩處每晚住一間只要Rs.$50，裝熱水喝和洗澡要另付，也不貴。可多要些毯子，我睡袋沒用上（晚上零下十度）。買好一點的羽絨衣輕又保暖，睡時可以蓋。食量大的，可以點尼泊耳餐，只有那是吃到飽的（導遊說的，我不需要），可以再加菜和飯。
之前我在台灣住的城市大停水十五天，我練就了一小桶水洗完全身的功夫，這次去可是派上用場了，等老闆燒洗澡水（要一小時多），我幾乎不加冷水就洗，太棒了。

I just came back from Nepal on 6th Feb. Flight service is normal. The latest situation of Nepal can see from this news (Kantipur Online):
Relief as phones, Internet services resume
KATHMANDU, Feb 8 - After a weeklong communication block with the outside world, normal life in Kathmandu valley is returning back to normalcy.
Thamel the most happening part of the town in the valley looked calm. Most of the shops were opened but there were not much people on the streets. However, the cyber cafes were full of users who were anxiously checking the mails of their near and dear ones.
All looked happy and were in high spirits for the fact that they were now able to communicate.
Sugako from Japan was busy sending and checking emails. She had been worried as there were no any means of communication for the past seven days.
“It was a big problem as I couldn’t contact with anybody,” she commented.
“Even my parents were worried but everything is ok now and I am very happy with the way things are turning up,” she added.
Similarly, a regular local net user Subah Giri said that he was very much affected by the communication breakdown. He however, took the King’s move on a positive note adding, “ I think people hope have increased and what we can do now is wait and see for the positive reforms.”
Steffia of Germany had a different view. “It was no problem for me at all,” she said. “But I felt the public tension and it made me uncomfortable,” she expressed.
Since the onset of communication collapse banking and travel services were among the ones to be the hardest hit.
Life normal
Life in Kathmandu Valley continues to be normal with shops, offices, businesses and educational institutions remaining open.
There have been no reports of any untoward incident so far since the imposition of the State of Emergency a week ago.

我回來了, 我在尼國八天, 天下太平, 夜夜笙歌, 除了要在波卡拉坐小型飛機返加都外(因為罷工沒有巴士), 甚麼問題也沒有, 我在波卡拉外見到有一個八十人的馬來西亞華人團, 而我住的酒店全間也是廣州人住的, 還遇到很多四川上海人, 在小小一個波卡拉, 最少我也見過百多二百個中國人, 好像去了國內旅遊!

Hello!
I've just returned from Kathmandu to HK yesterday! Everything seemed to be alright there, at least in Thamel and at the airport. The security check at the airport was really strict but there was no special problem for my departure. (I think the 1-hour delay should be normal for Royal Nepal Airline!)
Regarding the transportaion, someone said that the domestic airport was closed. I'm not very sure about that because I returned from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus on 1 Feb 05. There were many army checkpoints on the way but I think the checkpoints were in operation all along.

Hi,
I just came back from the Jomsom Trek and took a bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu this morning.
Here are some latest updates:
1. I did not encounter any Maoists on the trek, not even in Poon Hill (I was there on Dec 24th).
2. No problem with bus travel between Pokhara and Kathmandu. There were numerous police/military checkposts but all in all it's no problem. (I took a "Greenline" tourist bus, not sure about normal bus though)
The scenery is amazing! Don't miss it.
